Custom Dome Lids

Headroom for toppings, whipped cream, and boba

Starting around$0.065/eaConfigure for your price

A dome lid closes a cold cup with a raised cap that creates space above the rim. That headroom is functional — it protects whipped cream, holds a layer of boba or fruit, keeps a piled topping from touching the lid — and it is also why dome lids are the standard closure for any drink where what sits on top is part of the product.

  • Raised profile protects whipped cream, boba, and toppings
  • Matched to your cups, with fit confirmed before manufacturing

About Custom Dome Lids

A dome lid is a cold-cup closure with a raised centre that creates open space above the drink. It is the format you use whenever the top of the drink is part of what the customer bought — whipped cream on a blended coffee, boba sitting above the tea line, fruit piled on a smoothie, or a dessert drink that is finished rather than poured.

The dome also changes how a drink presents. A clear dome shows the topping layer, which is often the most photogenic part of the drink; an opaque or printed dome keeps the silhouette clean and puts your branding directly above the cup.

Because the topping is the reason the dome exists, the height and shape of the dome should be chosen against what is actually going on top of the drink — a low dome that clears a swirl of whipped cream is a different part than one that has to hold a full boba scoop.

Sizes & Compatibility

Lid sizing is nominal, and a lid from one supplier does not necessarily seat correctly on another supplier's cup even at the same labelled size. Fit is therefore confirmed against your actual cup before manufacturing.

Dome Styles

Dome height is the main variable. The right choice depends on how much sits above the rim of the cup.

  • Low dome — clears a modest topping or a swirl of cream without adding much height.
  • High dome — full headroom for boba, fruit, or a piled topping.
  • Vented dome — where a hot or steaming fill needs pressure to escape.
  • Straw slot vs sip opening — confirmed alongside your cup and drink type.

Printing Clear and Opaque Domes

A clear dome and a printed one do different jobs. A clear dome lets the customer see the topping, which is a selling point for anything finished or layered. A printed dome puts your logo directly above the cup, on the highest and often most visible part of the drink.

  • Logo printing on the dome face — highly visible on counter and in photos.
  • A repeated or patterned mark across the dome.
  • Brand colour matching on opaque domes.
  • Combining a clear cup with a printed dome leaves the drink visible and the brand intact.

Flat vs Dome

Flat lids keep a low profile, stack compactly, and suit drinks served with a straw. Dome lids provide headroom for anything sitting above the rim.

If your menu includes both, the two styles can be ordered together in one project with matched branding and matched fit.

How Pricing Works

Custom packaging is quoted per project rather than sold at a list price, because the cost depends on the material, the size, how much print coverage your artwork uses, any additional features, and the quantity you run.

Larger runs lower the cost per unit, which is why we quote across volume tiers instead of a single flat figure. Submit your configuration and a specialist returns pricing for your exact combination, including what the price covers — product, printing, accessories, freight, and artwork setup.

Minimum Order Quantity

Minimum order quantity varies by product and specification, and is confirmed with your quote. It depends on the material, the size, and the print setup your artwork requires — a run that shares a plate or a die can start smaller than one that does not.

Tell us your target quantity in the configurator and we will confirm the actual minimum for your build.

Artwork Requirements

For the cleanest print result, supply vector artwork. Vector files scale to any size without losing edge quality, which matters when the same logo prints across a range of products in your line.

  • Preferred: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF — vector formats.
  • Acceptable: PNG or JPG at high resolution.
  • If you only have your logo, we can prepare the packaging layout for you.
  • A color reference — hex code, Pantone number, or a physical sample — helps us match accurately.

Production & Delivery

This product is custom manufactured after you approve the design and pricing — it is not pulled from stock. The sequence is: configure your specifications, receive a free digital mockup, approve the design and pricing, manufacturing begins, then the completed order is delivered nationwide.

Production timing and freight depend on the product, quantity, and your delivery location, so they are confirmed as part of your quote rather than estimated here.

Reordering

Because your specifications and approved artwork are recorded against your order, reordering is a matter of confirming your previous configuration and quantity — you do not need to rebuild the specification from scratch. Tell a specialist you are reordering and reference your previous project.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a low dome and a high dome?+
Dome height is set by how much sits above the rim of the cup. A low dome clears a modest topping or whipped cream; a high dome gives full headroom for boba, fruit, or a piled topping. Tell us what you put on top and we will recommend the right height.
How do I know the lids will fit my cups?+
Fit is confirmed against your actual cup before manufacturing rather than assumed from a size label. Ordering lids together with cups guarantees a matched set.
Can I print my logo on the lids?+
Yes. Logo printing, repeated marks, and brand colour matching are available, with a digital mockup before production.
Are these lids clear or opaque?+
Both options are available. A clear dome shows the topping; a printed or colour-matched dome puts your branding directly above the drink.
Do these lids fit hot cups?+
These are cold-cup lids. Hot cups use a different lid construction, available separately.
What sizes are available?+
Dome lids cover the standard cold-cup range from 12 oz through 32 oz, with other sizes confirmed on request against your cup.
What is the minimum order quantity?+
MOQ depends on the size and printing, and is confirmed with your quote. We do not publish an unverified minimum.
How much do custom dome lids cost?+
Pricing depends on size, material, dome style, print coverage, and quantity, so we quote across volume tiers. Submit your configuration for pricing on your exact combination.
Do you ship nationwide?+
Yes — completed orders are delivered to businesses across the United States, with freight calculated as part of your quote.
What file format should my logo be in?+
Vector files are best — AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF — and they matter most at small sizes. High-resolution PNG or JPG also works.

Production Time and Shipping Time Are Different

Production time is the time required to manufacture your packaging. Transit time is the time required to transport it to you. These are separate — a production window is not a delivery date, and every project's timeline is confirmed with your final quote.

Express

Best when speed matters most. Faster transportation may be available depending on the product, quantity, manufacturing location, shipment size, destination and carrier availability. Express transportation can cost significantly more than standard, and an exact transit time is confirmed with your freight quote.

Standard

Best when you want a balance between delivery cost and transit time. Standard freight is generally the more economical option when your schedule allows additional flexibility. Actual transit time and freight cost are confirmed with your final quote.

Large-volume freight

Larger orders are not handled as ordinary parcel shipments. Depending on size and destination this may involve palletized freight, LTL, air, ocean, partial-container (LCL) or full-container (FCL) arrangements. YaSeen determines the appropriate method for your actual project and quotes it accordingly.

If you are unsure, our team will recommend the option that best fits your deadline, quantity and destination once your project has been reviewed.
