Custom Flat Lids

Low-profile lids that stack and travel cleanly

Starting around$0.050/eaConfigure for your price

Flat lids are the low-profile closures used on cold cups for iced coffee, juice, smoothies, and fountain drinks. Their profile sits almost flush with the cup rim, which gives you two practical wins: cups stack more compactly, and the closed drink presents as a clean cylinder rather than a domed shape — which is what you want when the drink itself is the visual.

  • Low profile — cups stack and store more compactly
  • Matched to your cups, with fit confirmed before manufacturing
  • Printed lid options carry branding onto the closed cup

About Custom Flat Lids

Flat lids close a cold cup with a shallow, near-flush profile. Compared with a dome lid, they reduce the overall height of the drink, which matters more than it sounds: stacked cups take less counter space, delivery bags hold more, and the closed cup reads as a clean, even cylinder.

That last point is a design advantage. A domed lid adds a rounded shape above the cup, which competes visually with the artwork on the cup wall. A flat lid keeps the silhouette of the printed cup intact, so the brand treatment on the wall stays the thing the eye lands on.

Flat lids are typically used for drinks with a straw — iced coffee, juice, smoothies, soda — rather than for drinks where a sip opening or topping headroom is needed.

Sizes & Compatibility

Lid sizing is nominal, and a lid from one supplier will not necessarily seat correctly on a cup from another even when both carry the same size label. For that reason fit is confirmed against your actual cup before manufacturing.

Why Fit Is Confirmed, Not Assumed

A cold cup lid that does not seal properly leaks — in the customer's hand, in the car, in the delivery bag. Because nominal sizes vary between manufacturers, a lid is only confirmed as compatible after it has been matched to the actual cup it will be used on.

  • Tell us your cup size, or send a cup and we will match to it.
  • Ordering lids with cups removes the compatibility question entirely.
  • Lids are manufactured as a matched set with your cups when ordered together.
  • Straw compatibility is confirmed alongside the lid where relevant.

Printing & Options

A lid is a small surface, but a printed one is visible every time the cup is closed — which on a takeout or delivery order is most of the time the customer has it.

  • Logo printing on the lid face.
  • A repeated or patterned mark across the lid.
  • Brand colour matching — colour-matched lids with no logo.
  • Straw slot configurations confirmed with your cup.

Flat vs Dome

Flat lids suit drinks served with a straw and situations where stacking and a clean profile matter. Dome lids provide headroom above the drink, which is needed for whipped cream, boba, or any topping that sits above the rim.

If your menu includes both straw drinks and topped drinks, the two lid styles can be ordered together in one project with matched branding.

How Pricing Works

Custom packaging is quoted per project rather than sold at a list price, because the cost depends on the material, the size, how much print coverage your artwork uses, any additional features, and the quantity you run.

Larger runs lower the cost per unit, which is why we quote across volume tiers instead of a single flat figure. Submit your configuration and a specialist returns pricing for your exact combination, including what the price covers — product, printing, accessories, freight, and artwork setup.

Minimum Order Quantity

Minimum order quantity varies by product and specification, and is confirmed with your quote. It depends on the material, the size, and the print setup your artwork requires — a run that shares a plate or a die can start smaller than one that does not.

Tell us your target quantity in the configurator and we will confirm the actual minimum for your build.

Artwork Requirements

For the cleanest print result, supply vector artwork. Vector files scale to any size without losing edge quality, which matters when the same logo prints across a range of products in your line.

  • Preferred: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF — vector formats.
  • Acceptable: PNG or JPG at high resolution.
  • If you only have your logo, we can prepare the packaging layout for you.
  • A color reference — hex code, Pantone number, or a physical sample — helps us match accurately.

Production & Delivery

This product is custom manufactured after you approve the design and pricing — it is not pulled from stock. The sequence is: configure your specifications, receive a free digital mockup, approve the design and pricing, manufacturing begins, then the completed order is delivered nationwide.

Production timing and freight depend on the product, quantity, and your delivery location, so they are confirmed as part of your quote rather than estimated here.

Reordering

Because your specifications and approved artwork are recorded against your order, reordering is a matter of confirming your previous configuration and quantity — you do not need to rebuild the specification from scratch. Tell a specialist you are reordering and reference your previous project.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know the lids will fit my cups?+
Fit is confirmed against your actual cup before manufacturing rather than assumed from a size label. Tell us your cup size or send a cup sample, and ordering lids together with cups removes the question entirely.
Can I print my logo on the lids?+
Yes. Logo printing, repeated marks, and brand colour matching are available, with a digital mockup before production.
Which is better, flat or dome?+
Flat lids suit straw drinks and stacking, and keep a clean cup silhouette. Dome lids provide headroom for whipped cream, boba, and other toppings. Many businesses order both.
What sizes are available?+
Flat lids cover the standard cold-cup range from 12 oz through 32 oz, with other sizes confirmed on request. We verify against your cup with your quote.
Do these lids fit hot cups?+
These are cold-cup lids. Hot cups use a different lid construction, and hot-cup lids are available separately.
Can I order lids without cups?+
Yes, though we recommend confirming fit against a cup sample first. Ordering lids with cups guarantees a matched set.
What is the minimum order quantity?+
MOQ depends on the size and printing, and is confirmed with your quote. We do not publish an unverified minimum.
How much do custom lids cost?+
Pricing depends on size, material, print coverage, and quantity, so we quote across volume tiers. Submit your configuration for pricing on your exact combination.
Do you ship nationwide?+
Yes — completed orders are delivered to businesses across the United States, with freight calculated as part of your quote.
What file format should my logo be in?+
Vector files are best — AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF — and they matter most at small sizes. High-resolution PNG or JPG also works.

Production Time and Shipping Time Are Different

Production time is the time required to manufacture your packaging. Transit time is the time required to transport it to you. These are separate — a production window is not a delivery date, and every project's timeline is confirmed with your final quote.

Express

Best when speed matters most. Faster transportation may be available depending on the product, quantity, manufacturing location, shipment size, destination and carrier availability. Express transportation can cost significantly more than standard, and an exact transit time is confirmed with your freight quote.

Standard

Best when you want a balance between delivery cost and transit time. Standard freight is generally the more economical option when your schedule allows additional flexibility. Actual transit time and freight cost are confirmed with your final quote.

Large-volume freight

Larger orders are not handled as ordinary parcel shipments. Depending on size and destination this may involve palletized freight, LTL, air, ocean, partial-container (LCL) or full-container (FCL) arrangements. YaSeen determines the appropriate method for your actual project and quotes it accordingly.

If you are unsure, our team will recommend the option that best fits your deadline, quantity and destination once your project has been reviewed.
