Custom Cookie Bags

Small treat bags for cookies and baked goods

Starting around$0.180/eaConfigure for your price

A cookie bag is a small package with a hard job: it holds a fragile, greasy, crumb-prone product while making it look like something worth buying. Bakeries, cafés, and packaged cookie brands all use the same format for the same reasons — it is inexpensive, it prints well, and a window turns the product itself into the display. For counter sales the bag has to survive a handoff; for retail it has to sit on a shelf beside competitors and still get picked up.

YaSeen Packaging builds cookie bags to the size of what you actually sell, whether that is a single large cookie or a half-dozen box, and confirms the format against how the product sits before printing. Choose between window and solid formats with the closure that suits your counter, send print-ready artwork or just your logo, and we'll return a free digital mockup for approval. Volume pricing strengthens on larger runs, and completed orders are delivered nationwide.

About Cookie Bags

Cookie packaging is usually the first custom-printed item a small bakery orders, and for good reason. Cookies are sold in small quantities at a low unit price, which means the packaging has to be inexpensive — but they are also an impulse purchase, which means the packaging has to sell.

A paper bag or glassine-style bag resolves that tension. It costs very little per unit, it prints cleanly, and it lets the product show through when a window or a transparent format is used.

YaSeen manufactures your bags after you approve the design and pricing. Your size, material, and artwork are recorded against your order, which makes repeat runs straightforward.

Choosing a Format

Cookies come in enough shapes and sizes that the bag choice follows the product rather than a standard. These are the formats we build most often.

  • Small flat bag — a single large cookie or two smaller ones, sold at the counter.
  • Window bag — adds a clear panel so the cookie is visible, which is the strongest impulse-buy presentation.
  • Standing bag — a gusseted bag that stands on a counter or shelf, sized for a small multi-pack.
  • Tin-tie bag — resealable, which suits cookies sold by weight or in larger quantities.

Sizes

Cookie bag sizing follows the cookie rather than a fill weight. Tell us what you bake and how many go in a bag, and we will confirm dimensions against it.

Window & Material

The window is the single biggest presentation decision for cookie packaging, and the material choice follows from it.

  • Paper with window — a clear panel in a paper bag. Combines print surface with product visibility.
  • Full paper — no window. The most economical option and the largest uninterrupted print area.
  • Grease-resistant paper — for buttery or chocolate-heavy cookies where oil migrates.
  • Clear / transparent format — shows the whole product. Available by request and confirmed with your quote.

Printing

Cookie bags are small, so the design has to work at a small size. A logo and one line of type usually outperforms a detailed illustration.

  • One side — a single branded face. The most common and most economical choice.
  • Two sides — artwork on both faces, useful for a logo plus a social handle or a reorder prompt.
  • Full coverage — artwork continuing across the gussets.
  • Brand colour match — bags printed or sourced in your brand colour.

How Pricing Works

Cookie bag pricing depends on the size, the material and grade, whether a window is fitted, the closure, how much print coverage your artwork uses, and the quantity you run. Because these are small bags sold in large quantities, volume has a strong effect on the unit price.

Larger runs lower the cost per unit. Submit your configuration and a specialist returns pricing for your exact combination, including what the price covers — bag, window, printing, freight, and artwork setup.

Artwork Requirements

Supply vector artwork for the cleanest print result, and keep the design legible at small sizes — cookie bags are the smallest format in the bag family.

  • Preferred: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF — vector formats.
  • Acceptable: PNG or JPG at high resolution.
  • If you only have your logo, we can prepare the bag layout for you.
  • A colour reference — hex code, Pantone number, or a physical sample — helps us match accurately.

Minimum Order Quantity

Minimums depend on the size, the material, and the print setup your artwork requires. Tell us your target quantity in the configurator and we will confirm the actual minimum for your build.

Production & Delivery

These bags are custom manufactured after you approve the design and pricing — they are not pulled from stock. The sequence is: configure your specifications, receive a free digital mockup, approve the design and pricing, manufacturing begins, then the completed order is delivered nationwide.

Reordering

Because your size, material, and approved artwork are recorded against your order, reordering is a matter of confirming your previous configuration and quantity. Cookie bags are usually consumed quickly, so most customers reorder on a short cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size bag do I need for a single cookie?+
Most single-cookie bags are sized around the cookie's diameter rather than a standard fill weight. Tell us your cookie size and how many go in a bag and we will confirm dimensions.
Should I use a window bag?+
For cookies, usually yes — the product is the strongest selling point, and a window turns the bag into a display. A full paper bag is more economical and gives more print area if your branding is doing the work instead.
Is the paper food-safe?+
We manufacture from food-service paper grades intended for direct food contact. The specific grade is confirmed against your product with your quote, since greasy or warm products require a different grade from dry ones.
Can I print my logo on the bags?+
Yes. One-side, two-side, and full-coverage printing are available, plus brand colour matching. We review your artwork and send a digital mockup before production.
How much do custom cookie bags cost?+
Pricing depends on size, material, window, closure, print coverage, and quantity. These are small bags sold in large volumes, so the quantity tier has a strong effect on unit price. Submit your configuration for pricing on your exact combination.
What is the minimum order quantity?+
Minimum order quantity depends on size, material, and printing. It is confirmed with your quote — we do not publish an unverified minimum.
Do you ship nationwide?+
Yes — completed orders are delivered to businesses across the United States. Freight is calculated as part of your quote based on your delivery location and order size.
Can I order cookie bags together with other packaging?+
Yes. Many bakeries combine cookie bags with bakery bags, food labels, cake boxes, and napkins in a single order, which reduces the number of suppliers they manage.
What file format should my logo be in?+
Vector files are best — AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF — because they scale cleanly to small sizes. High-resolution PNG or JPG also works.

Production Time and Shipping Time Are Different

Production time is the time required to manufacture your packaging. Transit time is the time required to transport it to you. These are separate — a production window is not a delivery date, and every project's timeline is confirmed with your final quote.

Express

Best when speed matters most. Faster transportation may be available depending on the product, quantity, manufacturing location, shipment size, destination and carrier availability. Express transportation can cost significantly more than standard, and an exact transit time is confirmed with your freight quote.

Standard

Best when you want a balance between delivery cost and transit time. Standard freight is generally the more economical option when your schedule allows additional flexibility. Actual transit time and freight cost are confirmed with your final quote.

Large-volume freight

Larger orders are not handled as ordinary parcel shipments. Depending on size and destination this may involve palletized freight, LTL, air, ocean, partial-container (LCL) or full-container (FCL) arrangements. YaSeen determines the appropriate method for your actual project and quotes it accordingly.

Not sure

If you are unsure, our team will recommend the option that best fits your deadline, quantity and destination once your project has been reviewed.
