Custom Bakery Bags
Food-safe paper bags for pastries and bread
Starting around$0.180/eaConfigure for your priceA bakery bag is a display case. The pastry goes in at the counter and the customer looks at it again at their table or at home, which means the bag has to do two things at once: protect a delicate, often greasy product, and present it well enough that the purchase still looks appetising. Paper does both, as long as the grade and the closure match the item going in.

About Bakery Bags
Bakery packaging has an unusual requirement: it has to look good while holding something that will make it look worse. Butter, oil, and sugar migrate into paper, and a bag chosen purely on appearance can end up translucent with grease before the customer reaches the door.
That is why paper grade matters more here than in almost any other bag category. The right grade resists the product, holds the bag's shape while it is carried, and still prints cleanly enough to carry your brand.
YaSeen manufactures your bags after you approve the design and pricing. Your size, paste, and artwork are recorded against your order, which makes repeat runs straightforward.
Matching the Bag to the Product
Different bakery items need different bags, and the difference is mostly about how much the product breathes, bleeds, or crumbles.
| Product | Recommended Format | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Cookies, small pastries | Small bag, flat or window | Low weight, needs to look appealing |
| Croissants, danishes | Medium window bag | Greasy product, benefits from visibility |
| Loaves, artisan bread | Large bag, open or window | Tall item, crust needs to breathe |
| Slices, individual portions | Small window bag | Presentation and portion clarity |
| Mixed orders | Medium flat bag | General capacity for a range of items |
Closure Options
The closure determines how the bag is opened and reclosed, and whether the product stays fresh on the trip home.
- Open top — the simplest format. Fast to pack, best for items sold to be eaten immediately.
- Fold-over top — the top folds and tucks, which holds a loaf or a stack of pastries closed without a tie.
- Tin tie — a bendable strip that lets the customer reseal the bag. Suits cookies, coffee beans, and dry goods.
- Window — a clear panel showing the product. Pair with any closure above.
Paper & Grease Resistance
Paper grade is specified against what you bake rather than published as a universal answer, because a dry cookie and a butter-laden croissant place very different demands on the same bag. Tell us your product mix and we will recommend a grade.
- Natural kraft — the traditional bakery look. Warm, tactile, and it hides grease marks better than white.
- White — brighter presentation and truer colour for detailed artwork.
- Grease-resistant grade — for buttery, oily, or hot products, confirmed against your product with your quote.
- Custom brand colour — available by request.
Printing
Bakery bags are printed on one or both faces, and the smaller sizes reward simple, bold designs — a logo and a line of type reads better on a pastry bag than a detailed illustration.
- One side — a single branded face. The most common choice.
- Two sides — artwork on both faces, useful when bags are stacked and turned.
- Full coverage — artwork continuing across the gussets.
- Brand colour match — bags printed or sourced in your brand colour.
How Pricing Works
Bakery bag pricing depends on the size, the paper grade, the closure, whether a window is fitted, how much print coverage your artwork uses, and the quantity you run. A small flat cookie bag and a large windowed loaf bag are different products at different prices.
Larger runs lower the cost per unit. Submit your configuration and a specialist returns pricing for your exact combination, including what the price covers — bag, window, printing, freight, and artwork setup.
Artwork Requirements
Supply vector artwork for the cleanest print result. Vector files hold their edge quality across every bag size, which matters when the same logo prints on a cookie bag and a loaf bag.
- Preferred: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF — vector formats.
- Acceptable: PNG or JPG at high resolution.
- If you only have your logo, we can prepare the bag layout for you.
- A colour reference — hex code, Pantone number, or a physical sample — helps us match accurately.
Minimum Order Quantity
Minimums depend on the size, the paper grade, the closure, and the print setup your artwork requires. Tell us your target quantity in the configurator and we will confirm the actual minimum for your build.
Production & Delivery
These bags are custom manufactured after you approve the design and pricing — they are not pulled from stock. The sequence is: configure your specifications, receive a free digital mockup, approve the design and pricing, manufacturing begins, then the completed order is delivered nationwide.
Reordering
Because your size, paper, closure, and approved artwork are recorded against your order, reordering is a matter of confirming your previous configuration and quantity. Bakeries typically reorder on a repeating cycle, which makes scheduling straightforward.

Production Time and Shipping Time Are Different
Production time is the time required to manufacture your packaging. Transit time is the time required to transport it to you. These are separate — a production window is not a delivery date, and every project's timeline is confirmed with your final quote.
Express
Best when speed matters most. Faster transportation may be available depending on the product, quantity, manufacturing location, shipment size, destination and carrier availability. Express transportation can cost significantly more than standard, and an exact transit time is confirmed with your freight quote.
Standard
Best when you want a balance between delivery cost and transit time. Standard freight is generally the more economical option when your schedule allows additional flexibility. Actual transit time and freight cost are confirmed with your final quote.
Large-volume freight
Larger orders are not handled as ordinary parcel shipments. Depending on size and destination this may involve palletized freight, LTL, air, ocean, partial-container (LCL) or full-container (FCL) arrangements. YaSeen determines the appropriate method for your actual project and quotes it accordingly.
