Custom Double-Wall Hot Cups

Insulated paper cups — no sleeve required

Starting around$0.300/eaConfigure for your price

Double-wall hot cups are built from two layers of paper board with an insulating air gap between them. That construction is what lets you hand someone a full cup of coffee without adding a separate sleeve — the cup itself does the insulating, and the whole outer surface stays available for your artwork. Cafés, coffee shops, restaurants, drive-thrus, and food trucks choose double-wall when they want a clean handoff and maximum print area without the extra cost and handling of a sleeve.

YaSeen Packaging configures double-wall cups to your exact specification: size from 8 oz to 24 oz, lid type, print coverage, and order quantity, with estimated pricing shown as you build the spec. Send print-ready artwork or just your logo and we'll prepare a free digital mockup of the full wrap before production. Volume pricing applies across the run sizes most cafés order, and completed orders ship nationwide.

About Double-Wall Hot Cups

A double-wall cup is two paper walls with a gap of trapped air between them. Heat does not travel easily across that gap, so the outside of the cup stays comfortable to hold while the drink inside stays hot. For a café, that means one fewer component on the counter and one fewer thing for staff to remember during a rush.

The second wall is also a second surface. On a single-wall cup, the sleeve — usually a plain or lightly printed band — takes up the most visible part of what your customer holds. On a double-wall cup, that space belongs to you, and the print runs edge to edge around the entire outer wall.

Double-wall cups pair naturally with a café's existing lid and carrier setup, and because they are manufactured to your specification, your sizing and artwork are not constrained to whatever a distributor happens to stock.

Double-Wall vs Ripple-Wall vs Single-Wall

All three are paper hot cups. The difference is how the outside is built, and each one trades differently between insulation, surface area, and cost.

  • Double-wall — a smooth outer wall with an air gap. Full, clean print surface.
  • Ripple-wall — a corrugated outer wrap that creates the insulation through texture. A more tactile, handcrafted feel.
  • Single-wall — one layer of paper. Lightest and least expensive, but it needs a separate sleeve for comfortable holding.

Lid Options & Compatibility

Lids are manufactured as a matched set with your cups, so the fit is confirmed for your specific order rather than assumed from a nominal size. A cup and lid from different suppliers can share a size label and still not seal correctly, which is why compatibility is confirmed before manufacturing.

  • Sip lids — drink-through design, the standard for coffee and tea.
  • Travel lids — a raised sipper for transport and delivery orders.
  • Flat lids — a low profile that stacks well.
  • Cups only — if you already hold compatible lids, we can produce cups alone.

Printing & Brand Coverage

Because the outer wall is a single continuous surface, double-wall cups suit full-wrap artwork better than almost any other format. There is no sleeve to interrupt the design and no construction seam splitting the print area.

If you only have a logo file rather than finished artwork, send it across — we can prepare the cup layout for you as part of the mockup stage.

  • One-side printing — a single logo or graphic panel.
  • Two-side printing — artwork repeated on opposite sides.
  • Full wrap — artwork continues around the entire outer wall.
  • Brand color matching — color-matched cups with or without a logo.

Suggested Alternative

If the insulated hand-feel matters to you but you want a more textured, tactile presentation — the kind that reads as small-batch or artisan — a ripple-wall cup delivers a similar lack of sleeve with a very different surface.

Note on Spelling

Some pages in this catalog use “colour” and others use “color.” We are standardizing on American spelling across the site — if you would prefer the British form in your brand copy, mention it with your quote and we will apply it consistently to your project materials.

How Pricing Works

Custom packaging is quoted per project rather than sold at a list price, because the cost depends on the material, the size, how much print coverage your artwork uses, any additional features, and the quantity you run.

Larger runs lower the cost per unit, which is why we quote across volume tiers instead of a single flat figure. Submit your configuration and a specialist returns pricing for your exact combination, including what the price covers — product, printing, accessories, freight, and artwork setup.

Minimum Order Quantity

Minimum order quantity varies by product and specification, and is confirmed with your quote. It depends on the material, the size, and the print setup your artwork requires — a run that shares a plate or a die can start smaller than one that does not.

Tell us your target quantity in the configurator and we will confirm the actual minimum for your build.

Artwork Requirements

For the cleanest print result, supply vector artwork. Vector files scale to any size without losing edge quality, which matters when the same logo prints across a range of products in your line.

  • Preferred: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF — vector formats.
  • Acceptable: PNG or JPG at high resolution.
  • If you only have your logo, we can prepare the packaging layout for you.
  • A color reference — hex code, Pantone number, or a physical sample — helps us match accurately.

Production & Delivery

This product is custom manufactured after you approve the design and pricing — it is not pulled from stock. The sequence is: configure your specifications, receive a free digital mockup, approve the design and pricing, manufacturing begins, then the completed order is delivered nationwide.

Production timing and freight depend on the product, quantity, and your delivery location, so they are confirmed as part of your quote rather than estimated here.

Reordering

Because your specifications and approved artwork are recorded against your order, reordering is a matter of confirming your previous configuration and quantity — you do not need to rebuild the specification from scratch. Tell a specialist you are reordering and reference your previous project.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between double-wall and single-wall hot cups?+
A double-wall cup has two paper layers with an insulating air gap, so it stays comfortable to hold without a separate sleeve. A single-wall cup is one layer of paper and is normally served with a sleeve.
What sizes are available?+
8 oz, 12 oz, 16 oz, 20 oz, and 24 oz are the sizes we manufacture most often, and other sizes can be requested. Enter your size in the configurator and we will confirm availability with your quote.
Can I print my logo on the cups?+
Yes. Logo printing, brand color matching, and one-side, two-side, or full-wrap coverage are available. We review your artwork and send a digital mockup before production.
Are lids included?+
Lids can be included with your order. Sip, travel, and flat lids are available and are manufactured as a matched set with your cups so the fit is confirmed. If you already hold compatible lids, you can order cups only.
What is the minimum order quantity?+
Minimum order quantity depends on the size and printing on your order. It is confirmed with your quote — we do not publish an unverified minimum.
How much do custom double-wall cups cost?+
Pricing depends on size, print coverage, lid style, and quantity. Larger runs reduce the cost per unit, so we quote across volume tiers. Submit your configuration and a specialist will return pricing for your exact combination.
How long does production take?+
Production schedules depend on the product, quantity, and current manufacturing load. Your specialist confirms a realistic timeline with your quote rather than quoting a fixed number in advance.
Do you ship nationwide?+
Yes — completed orders are delivered to businesses across the United States. Freight is calculated as part of your quote based on your delivery location and order size.
Can I order hot cups together with other packaging?+
Yes. Many customers combine hot cups with cold cups, sleeves, napkins, carriers, and bakery packaging in a single order, which reduces the number of suppliers they manage.
What file format should my logo be in?+
Vector files are best — AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF — because they scale cleanly to every cup size. High-resolution PNG or JPG also works. If you only have a logo file, we can prepare the cup layout for you.

Production Time and Shipping Time Are Different

Production time is the time required to manufacture your packaging. Transit time is the time required to transport it to you. These are separate — a production window is not a delivery date, and every project's timeline is confirmed with your final quote.

Express

Best when speed matters most. Faster transportation may be available depending on the product, quantity, manufacturing location, shipment size, destination and carrier availability. Express transportation can cost significantly more than standard, and an exact transit time is confirmed with your freight quote.

Standard

Best when you want a balance between delivery cost and transit time. Standard freight is generally the more economical option when your schedule allows additional flexibility. Actual transit time and freight cost are confirmed with your final quote.

Large-volume freight

Larger orders are not handled as ordinary parcel shipments. Depending on size and destination this may involve palletized freight, LTL, air, ocean, partial-container (LCL) or full-container (FCL) arrangements. YaSeen determines the appropriate method for your actual project and quotes it accordingly.

If you are unsure, our team will recommend the option that best fits your deadline, quantity and destination once your project has been reviewed.
