Custom Single-Wall Hot Cups

The classic coffee cup — printed, and paired with a sleeve

Starting around$0.220/eaConfigure for your price

Single-wall hot cups are the standard paper coffee cup: one layer of paper board, formed and rolled, sealed at the base. They are the lightest and most economical hot cup format, and because they do not carry a second insulating wall, they are normally served with a sleeve. That pairing is not a compromise — for many cafés it is the better system, because the sleeve is a second printed surface and a second place for your brand to appear.

About Single-Wall Hot Cups

A single-wall cup is one layer of paper board, coated on the inside so the liquid does not soak through. It is the format most coffee is served in worldwide, and it remains the most common choice for high-volume operations because the cup itself costs less than an insulated alternative.

The trade-off is heat transfer. With only one wall, a freshly poured drink makes the outside of the cup hot to hold, so a sleeve goes on. That is worth thinking about as a branding decision rather than just a handling one: on a single-wall cup, the sleeve is the largest surface the customer touches, and printing it means your logo is on the part of the drink people actually look at.

Many cafés print both — the cup in one treatment, the sleeve in another — and get two coordinated brand placements out of a single drink.

The Cup and Sleeve System

A sleeve is a separate printed band that wraps the middle of the cup. It insulates the hand from the paper and adds a second, high-visibility brand surface. Sleeves are sized to your cup, and compatibility is confirmed before manufacturing rather than assumed from a nominal size.

Ordering cups and sleeves together means both are produced to the same specification and arrive together — one supplier, one delivery, one consistent look.

  • Cup — printed on the wall, in one-side, two-side, or full-wrap coverage.
  • Sleeve — printed on the band, with its own coverage options.
  • Both can be ordered in a single project with matched colors.
  • Sleeves are also available on their own if you source cups elsewhere.

Lid Options & Compatibility

Lids are manufactured as a matched set with your cups, so the fit is confirmed for your specific order. Sip, travel, and flat lids are available, and cups can be ordered on their own if you already hold compatible lids.

When a Single-Wall Cup Is the Right Choice

Single-wall is usually the right answer when volume is high and cost per unit matters, when you want to print a sleeve as a distinct brand surface, or when your service already includes a sleeve as part of the presentation.

If your priority is handing over a cup that needs nothing added, an insulated construction — double-wall or ripple-wall — removes the sleeve step entirely.

How Pricing Works

Custom packaging is quoted per project rather than sold at a list price, because the cost depends on the material, the size, how much print coverage your artwork uses, any additional features, and the quantity you run.

Larger runs lower the cost per unit, which is why we quote across volume tiers instead of a single flat figure. Submit your configuration and a specialist returns pricing for your exact combination, including what the price covers — product, printing, accessories, freight, and artwork setup.

Minimum Order Quantity

Minimum order quantity varies by product and specification, and is confirmed with your quote. It depends on the material, the size, and the print setup your artwork requires — a run that shares a plate or a die can start smaller than one that does not.

Tell us your target quantity in the configurator and we will confirm the actual minimum for your build.

Artwork Requirements

For the cleanest print result, supply vector artwork. Vector files scale to any size without losing edge quality, which matters when the same logo prints across a range of products in your line.

  • Preferred: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF — vector formats.
  • Acceptable: PNG or JPG at high resolution.
  • If you only have your logo, we can prepare the packaging layout for you.
  • A color reference — hex code, Pantone number, or a physical sample — helps us match accurately.

Production & Delivery

This product is custom manufactured after you approve the design and pricing — it is not pulled from stock. The sequence is: configure your specifications, receive a free digital mockup, approve the design and pricing, manufacturing begins, then the completed order is delivered nationwide.

Production timing and freight depend on the product, quantity, and your delivery location, so they are confirmed as part of your quote rather than estimated here.

Reordering

Because your specifications and approved artwork are recorded against your order, reordering is a matter of confirming your previous configuration and quantity — you do not need to rebuild the specification from scratch. Tell a specialist you are reordering and reference your previous project.

Who Orders Custom Single-Wall Hot Cups

These are the businesses that most often order this packaging. We manufacture to your specifications regardless of your size.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do single-wall cups need a sleeve?+
For hot drinks, yes — with only one paper layer the outside gets hot to hold. A printed sleeve solves that and adds a second branded surface to the drink.
Can I order cups and sleeves together?+
Yes. Cups and sleeves can be produced in one project with matched colors and delivered together, so you are not coordinating two suppliers.
What sizes are available?+
8 oz through 24 oz are the sizes we manufacture most often, and other sizes can be requested. We confirm availability with your quote.
Can I print my logo on the cups?+
Yes — logo printing, brand color matching, and one-side, two-side, or full-wrap coverage are available, with a digital mockup before production.
Should I choose single-wall or double-wall?+
Single-wall costs less per cup and gives you a separate surface to print on. Double-wall costs more but needs no sleeve and gives you one continuous printed surface. The right pick depends on volume, service flow, and how you want to use the sleeve.
Are lids included?+
Lids can be included. Sip, travel, and flat lids are manufactured as a matched set with your cups so the fit is confirmed.
What is the minimum order quantity?+
MOQ depends on size and printing, and is confirmed with your quote. We do not publish an unverified minimum.
How much do custom single-wall cups cost?+
Pricing depends on size, print coverage, lid style, and quantity, so we quote across volume tiers. Submit your configuration for pricing on your exact combination.
Do you ship nationwide?+
Yes — completed orders are delivered to businesses across the United States, with freight calculated as part of your quote.
What file format should my logo be in?+
Vector files are best — AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF. High-resolution PNG or JPG also works, and if you only have a logo file we can prepare the cup layout for you.

Production Time and Shipping Time Are Different

Production time is the time required to manufacture your packaging. Transit time is the time required to transport it to you. These are separate — a production window is not a delivery date, and every project's timeline is confirmed with your final quote.

Express

Best when speed matters most. Faster transportation may be available depending on the product, quantity, manufacturing location, shipment size, destination and carrier availability. Express transportation can cost significantly more than standard, and an exact transit time is confirmed with your freight quote.

Standard

Best when you want a balance between delivery cost and transit time. Standard freight is generally the more economical option when your schedule allows additional flexibility. Actual transit time and freight cost are confirmed with your final quote.

Large-volume freight

Larger orders are not handled as ordinary parcel shipments. Depending on size and destination this may involve palletized freight, LTL, air, ocean, partial-container (LCL) or full-container (FCL) arrangements. YaSeen determines the appropriate method for your actual project and quotes it accordingly.

If you are unsure, our team will recommend the option that best fits your deadline, quantity and destination once your project has been reviewed.
