The agreement

Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you order custom packaging from YaSeen Packaging. They cover how quotes work, how artwork is approved, when production begins, how payment and delivery are handled, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Last updated October 2026 (draft)

Draft for owner review. This page has not been legally reviewed or approved for publication. Items marked “Owner decision required” are commercial choices that must be made before the text is final.

1.These terms form our agreement

These terms apply to quotations, samples and orders for custom packaging supplied by YaSeen Packaging, operated by YaSeen WholeSale. By placing an order or approving a quote, you accept them.

If you are ordering on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to place the order for that business.

If these terms conflict with a written agreement signed by both parties, the signed agreement takes precedence for that order.

2.Quotes and pricing

A quote is valid for the period stated on it. Beyond that period we may need to requote, because material and freight costs change.

Pricing depends on the specification you give us: the product, the size, the quantity, the printing, the number of print placements, and the delivery destination all affect the total. Where a published online price differs from the price on your quote, the quote applies to your order.

Orders of 100,000 units or more, and any order needing a specification we do not price online, are quoted by a specialist. You will not be charged at a published price for a configuration that published price does not cover.

3.Digital mockups

Before production we provide a free digital mockup showing your artwork as it will appear on the product. The mockup is a design representation, not a photograph of finished goods, and colour can vary between a screen rendering and printed output.

The mockup is your opportunity to check spelling, layout, colour and placement. What you approve is what we produce.

Included revisions

Your free digital mockup includes up to two reasonable revision rounds before you give final approval.

A revision round covers changes to the proposed artwork or its layout on the product.

If further revision rounds are needed, they may require a separately quoted fee. Any such fee is disclosed to you and approved by you before the additional work proceeds.

Production begins only after the required payment is satisfied and you have given final approval of the artwork.

4.Artwork approval authorises production

Manufacturing begins only after you approve the artwork and the order specification. Your approval is the instruction to produce, and it confirms the spelling, colours, sizes, quantities and print placement shown in the mockup.

Changes after approval

Once you have approved the artwork, whether a change is still possible depends on the production stage and on what is feasible for your product and quantity. Tell us immediately and we will tell you what can still be done before anything is actioned.

Where a change is possible, any additional cost is quoted to you in advance and requires your approval before the work proceeds. A change may also extend your production or delivery estimate.

Once manufacturing has begun, some changes may no longer be possible at all, because the run is already in production to the specification you approved.

Artwork you supply must meet our Artwork Standards, which set out what we accept and what we decline to print. You confirm that you have the right to use any logo, image, typeface or design you send us, and that printing it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

5.Samples

Physical samples are available for some products and depend on what is available at the time you ask. A sample is requested before a full order and is described on our Samples and Consultation page.

A sample shows material and print quality. It is not a guarantee that a full production run will be identical in every respect, because production methods differ from sampling methods. Any sample credit toward a future order is confirmed with you in writing when you request it.

6.Payment terms

Payment terms are confirmed with your quote. They may be a deposit with the balance before shipment, or full payment before production, depending on the order. We confirm which applies before you pay anything.

Payment is taken through our payment processor's secure hosted checkout. We do not store your card details — see our Privacy Policy.

Production begins after the required payment has cleared and the artwork has been approved. Until both have happened, we have not started your order.

Where you are ordering at a published online price, the total shown at checkout is the amount charged. We do not add undisclosed charges after the fact.

7.Delivery

Our published prices include standard delivery to the contiguous 48 United States. Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and international destinations is charged separately and confirmed with your quote. See our Shipping Policy for the full detail.

Delivery dates are estimates unless we have confirmed a specific date in writing. Production and transit can be affected by things outside our control, including carrier delays, weather and material availability. We will tell you promptly if we become aware of a delay affecting your order.

Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided.

8.Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary:

  • Before production begins, you may request cancellation. Any charges that would apply are disclosed to you and agreed before they are applied — we do not deduct a charge for work you were not told about in advance.
  • Custom-made packaging is manufactured to your specification and cannot be resold, so once production has begun an order generally cannot be canceled or refunded because you have changed your mind. This is subject to the law that applies to your purchase.
  • This does not affect our responsibility for verified defects, incorrect products or manufacturing errors, and it does not limit any non-waivable right you have by law.

Approved refunds are generally processed within 10 business days after we approve them.

Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to make the credit available to you, which is outside our control.

Please tell us about damage, defects or an incorrect order within 7 calendar days of delivery so we can assess and resolve it promptly.

This request does not eliminate or shorten any longer right you have under the law that applies to your purchase, and it does not apply to defects we caused.

9.Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for producing your order to the artwork and specification you approved. If we fail to do that, or the order arrives damaged, we will correct it as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit or lost business, arising from a delay, a defect, or an order that could not be completed.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

Note for the owner: this clause is intentionally a cap rather than a total exclusion, which is more likely to be upheld. Have it reviewed for the states and countries you actually ship to before publishing.

10.Events outside our control

We are not in breach of these terms if we are unable to perform because of something outside our reasonable control. That includes carrier failures, severe weather, material or component shortages, industrial action, and government action. Where it happens, we will contact you to agree a new schedule.

11.Governing law and resolving a problem

If you are unhappy with your order, contact us first at info@yaseenpackaging.com. We would rather resolve a problem directly than have it escalate, and in most cases we can.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, and disputes are generally handled in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Minnesota. This is subject to any mandatory jurisdictional requirements that apply and does not limit any right you have under the law that applies to your purchase.

Nothing in this clause prevents you from bringing a claim in a court that has jurisdiction over your matter, or overrides any consumer protection right that cannot be waived by agreement.

Professional legal review recommended

This clause should be reviewed by a qualified attorney for the states and countries YaSeen Packaging actually sells into before final publication.

This is not a statement that the clause has been reviewed. It records that it has not.
