Custom packaging is manufactured to order, which means production and transit are two separate timelines. This page explains both, and how an order reaches a business anywhere in the United States.
Nothing about the process changes because you are ordering from another state. What changes is freight, and this page is honest about why.
What we do not publish
We do not publish fixed lead times, a transit time table, a freight rate sheet or a delivery radius. Each of those varies by product, quantity, destination and season, and a published figure that turned out to be wrong would cost you real money.
Instead, your quote states the estimated production window and the delivery arrangement for your specific order.
Production Time
Production time depends on the product, the quantity, the printing method and whether your artwork is print-ready or needs preparation. Your quote states the estimated production window for your specific order rather than a generic figure that would not hold.
Shipping and Freight
Orders ship nationwide. Freight is quoted to your delivery ZIP code and depends on the size and weight of the shipment, how many cartons are involved, and the speed of service you choose.
Delivery Destination
We can ship to a single location, or coordinate delivery to multiple locations for multi-site operators. Tell us your destinations when you submit and we will price the freight accordingly.
Large and Repeat Orders
High-volume orders are handled as freight projects: palletised, scheduled and delivered on an agreed date. Because we keep your approved specifications and artwork on file, repeat orders are a matter of confirming quantity and timing.
From Your Approval to Your Door
Five things happen between the last approval and the delivery arriving. Four of them you never have to think about, and the fifth is where your destination enters the picture.
Your approvals close the specification
Production scheduling starts from a finished specification, not a request. Once the design, quantity and artwork are approved, nothing further is needed from you and the order enters the production queue.
When that queue actually starts is confirmed on your quote.
Production runs to the quoted window
The manufacturing window for your order depends on the product, the quantity, the printing involved and whether the artwork arrived print-ready. It is stated on your quote for your order rather than published as a sitewide figure.

The order is packed for how far it travels
Packing is decided by the shipment, not by habit. A small order travels as parcels; a larger one is cased and palletised. How it is packed affects both how it survives transit and how it is priced, which is why packing and freight are quoted together.

Freight is quoted to your destination
Your delivery ZIP code is what turns a packed order into a freight figure. Distance, shipment weight, carton count, pallet count and the speed of service you choose all feed into it, so two identical orders going to different states do not cost the same to move.

Delivery is arranged around your site
A business receiving freight has practical constraints: a loading dock or none, a delivery window, a receiving contact, sometimes a restriction on when a truck can arrive. Say so when you submit and it is planned into the delivery rather than discovered on the day.

What none of this measures
Transit time is not something a supplier sets. Once freight is in a carrier's network, the timing is theirs, which is why we quote a service level rather than promising a date.
What Actually Moves a Freight Figure
Freight is not one number. It is the product of several independent decisions, and a buyer who understands which ones are theirs can change the outcome rather than just accepting it.
Distance and destination
Where the order is going is the first input. Freight is priced to the delivery ZIP code, so an order to a neighbouring state and one across the country are not the same shipment even when the goods are identical.

Shipment weight and size
Packaging is bulky relative to its value. Cups, containers and bags occupy volume, and freight scales with both weight and the space the shipment takes up, which is why a light but bulky order is not cheap to move.

Cartons and pallets
As an order grows it stops moving as parcels and starts moving as cases, then pallets, then a part-load. Each stage has its own handling and its own pricing structure, and the changeover between them is not gradual.

Speed of service
A faster service is a more expensive one. Transit time is a choice you can make rather than a fixed property of the shipment, so it is worth saying how urgent the delivery actually is before it is quoted.

Site access and handling
A loading dock, a forklift and a receiving team make a delivery simpler than a residential-style drop with none of those. Liftgate service and inside delivery are arrangements rather than defaults.

Number of destinations
One order to one address and one order split across several sites are different freight projects. Splitting is entirely possible, and it is priced as the multi-stop movement it is rather than as several independent shipments.

Running Against a Deadline?
Do not wait until the order is placed. Every YaSeen configurator asks when you need your packaging, and an aggressive deadline is flagged to our team when your project arrives. If a date cannot be met, we tell you before you commit rather than after.
If your schedule is tight, reach out early: sometimes adjusting the quantity or the delivery method makes a date workable that would not otherwise be.

A business choosing between a national supplier and one down the road deserves to see exactly which parts differ. Most of them do not, and the ones that do are all about moving goods rather than making them.

One Order, One Address or Several
Where the order lands is a decision you make, not one we make for you. These are the arrangements buyers ask for most often.
A single location
The straightforward case. Freight is quoted to one destination ZIP code and delivered there.
Multiple locations
One order, several addresses, quoted as a single multi-stop freight project rather than as separate shipments.
Staged deliveries
A large order can sometimes be released in stages rather than arriving all at once. Ask early, because it is easier to plan than to retrofit.
Site with no dock
No loading dock or handling equipment is workable, but it has to be known before the delivery is arranged rather than on the day.
None of these arrangements carries a published term. What is confirmed in every case is that the freight for your order is quoted to your destination and your service level together, and that any special receiving requirement at your site is part of that quote rather than a surprise afterwards.
Distance Never Touches Your Artwork
This is the part buyers ordering from out of state worry about most, and it is the part that never changes. Artwork travels by email. It does not matter whether you are across the street or across the country.
You still send your logo and brand information the same way, you still receive a free digital mockup, and you still approve the design before anything is manufactured. The mockup is the point at which you see the result, so nothing about the process depends on being able to visit in person.
