Woozy bottles have a slender neck that controls pour speed, which is why they're the dominant format for hot sauce and Worcestershire-style condiments. Boston rounds have a classic round shoulder that suits dressings, marinades, and thicker sauces. Other silhouettes (flasks, decanters, and custom shapes) are possible on a per-order basis and confirmed with your specialist.

Closures for Sauces

The closure matters as much as the bottle for a sauce. The wrong closure leaks, lets air in, or strips when the customer tries to open it. YaSeen confirms closure compatibility with your bottle and product before manufacturing rather than assuming from a nominal size.

How Sauce Bottle Selection Works

Sauce packaging starts with the product's behaviour, not its appearance. Viscosity decides the orifice and the neck: a thin hot sauce and a thick BBQ sauce need different openings to deliver a controlled amount rather than a flood or a trickle. The closure comes with the orifice decision, because a squeeze-top, a restrictor cap, and a plain screw cap each change how the customer dispenses.

Silhouette then follows from the pour. A woozy's slender neck slows the flow, which is what makes it the standard for hot sauce and thin condiments. A Boston round gives a steadier, faster pour that suits dressings and marinades. Choosing the silhouette before the capacity means the pour behaviour is settled first and the volume is matched to it.

Capacity follows your fill volume plus the headspace the product needs, and glass color is the last functional choice: amber filters UV light and matters for light-sensitive sauces and oils, while clear shows the product's own color, which is often the strongest selling point on a shelf. Decoration is built to the printable area once all of the above is fixed, so the label is drawn once.

Artwork & Label Requirements

Sauce bottles carry a printed label rather than direct decoration on the glass, so the artwork requirements are largely label requirements. Vector artwork gives the cleanest result because the file scales to the die line without losing edge quality, which matters when a narrow label wraps a curved neck.

• Preferred: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF, vector formats.
• Acceptable: PNG or JPG at high resolution.
• If you only have your logo, we can prepare the label layout for you.
• Front, back, wrap-around, and tear-off coupon labels can all be planned.
• A color reference (hex code, Pantone number, or a physical sample) helps us match accurately.

Minimum Order Quantity

Minimum order quantity depends on the bottle style, the capacity, the glass color, and the closure, and is confirmed with your quote. A standard woozy or Boston round in a common capacity generally starts lower than a custom silhouette, because a custom mould commits tooling a standard bottle does not.

Reordering

Sauce producers reorder on a production and seasonal cycle, and the bottle and closure have to match exactly when they do: a closure that changes between runs is felt by the customer on the first use. Because your capacity, silhouette, glass color, closure, and approved label artwork are recorded against your order, reordering is a matter of confirming your previous configuration and quantity.
